HATCHER & BOMSTAD

Dr. Alan S. Hatcher has practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in Hopkins for 27 years. Dr. Hatcher graduated from the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Dental Surgery degrees. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He is proud of the comfortable, friendly, small town feel to the practice that he and his staff work hard to maintain.

Dr. Hatcher especially likes to get to know his patients and listen to their needs so they receive the specific care they desire. Dr. Hatcher has been a life-long resident of the Hopkins-Minnetonka area, he currently lives in Minnetonka with his wife, Becky, and their two teenage children, William and Carrie.

Dr. Kris Bomstad has practiced family and cosmetic dentistry for 7 years.  He was born in Hutchinson, Minnesota and graduated from high school there in 1992. He went on to study at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

In June of 2000, he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter doing activities such as: fishing, baseball, soccer and hockey.  Dr. Bomstad derives his greatest satisfaction from work when he can help a patient who has a negative outlook about their oral health.  Restoring a patients' dentition can give them back the confidence and self-esteem to feel good about themselves and feel good about life.

Bev started at Hatcher-Bomstad in October. of 2004. After many years in the dental field, she followed Dr. Bomstad to the Hopkins office from her previous office. She is proud of her two daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. She and her husband, Tom, reside in Robbinsdale. She enjoys working at Hatcher-Bomstad because the patients and staff are the best anywhere.

Sheri started at Drs. Hatcher and Bomstad's office in January of 2005. She has many years of dental experience and thoroughly enjoys working with the fun staff and doctors. She spends her leisure time with family, friends, and truly cherishes the time with her grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors, especially being by a lake--any lake.

Maia is a recent graduate of Argosy University and has been working at our office since August 2007. She lives in Hopkins with two roommates and her puppy. Maia enjoys the outdoors, spending time wiht family and friends, and attending concerts.

Hanna is a graduate of Argosy University and has been with Hatcher and Bomstad since April 2008. She lives in St. Paul with her friend Tyler and their cat, Jager. Hanna loves being outside and enjoys mountain biking, cross country skiing, camping, and hiking. Other interests include riding her scooter, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Hanna says she has a great job because she loves the patients and staff at Hatcher and Bomstad.

Sandy has been a hygienist at Dr. Hatcher and Dr. Bomstad's office since July 1993. She and her husband live in Bloomington and their daughter attends UW-Madison. She enjoys Twins baseball, gardening, rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Sandy enjoys her work at the office because of her great patients and wonderful staff.

Mary has been a hygienist for 23 years and graduated from the U of M-Duluth. She and her husband live in Eden Prairie with their son and daughter, who attend Hopkins High School. In her free time, Mary likes to golf and take her chocolate Lab on long walks. She also enjoys watching her kids play hockey, baseball and softball.

Shelley is one of our dental assistants and has been chair side with Dr. Hatcher for 17 years. She is married with two young children and commutes from Princeton. Shelley loves vacations and sunshine. What she loves most about her job is being able to talk, talk, talk...

Carol has been a dental assistant for 28 years and graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato. She joined our team in November 2007 and loves it! She lives in Golden Valley with her husband, children and their cats. Carol enjoys the arts, entertaining and hiking.
